Forge the Future: Help Fund Our Metalsmithing Class
Help me give my students jewelry making essential metalsmithing tools to enhance their hands-on learning and craftsmanship in our high school metals class.
I absolutely love my students' enthusiasm and creativity. They are eager to learn and dive into new challenges, especially when it comes to hands-on projects in our art metals course. The metalsmithing tools we’re requesting—rotary tumbler supplies, hammers, and files—will make a significant difference in their learning. These tools will allow them to explore their artistic talents, understand the principles of metalworking, and develop practical skills that can be used in future careers or hobbies.
Our goals for funding these tools are to provide students with the opportunity to engage in creative, hands-on learning and to foster an appreciation for the craft of metalsmithing.
By working with these materials and tools, students will enhance their problem-solving abilities, improve their fine motor skills, and gain a sense of accomplishment from creating tangible pieces of art.
What makes my students special is their diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives. They bring a rich variety of ideas and inspirations to the classroom, which makes our learning environment vibrant and dynamic.
