My classroom is made up of energetic 8 and 9 year-olds, that are so different and special in their own way. I have creatives, dreamers, engineers, scientists, poets, caretakers, authors, musicians, helpers, comedians, athletes, and scholars. But the one thing they all have in common is: they are in Mrs. A.'s 3rd grade classroom and we are family.
Our motto is, "Alone we are smart, together we are brilliant." And we depend on others to help us succeed too!
The alternative seating that we use helps accommodate the many needs and different learners in our classroom.
My Project
Our current mailboxes are cardboard and drooping from years of use. In fact, Mrs. A. found our current mailbox in a garbage pile, bound for the recycling bin! We believe in helping the earth so we have squeezed out every last drop of use from there!
We would like these high-quality mailboxes for our classroom, and for 3rd graders for years to come!
They hold our hard work, our favorite books, important information to bring home, and exciting projects to share with our families!
Most importantly: these mailboxes will be used by 3rd graders for the next 30 years (until Mrs. A. retires), and then they will be passed on to the next 3rd grade teacher!
