This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Introducing forensic kids to laser engravers and laser rollers can significantly enhance their learning experience. These tools provide a hands-on approach to understanding forensic science principles, making learning more engaging and interactive. By using laser engravers, students can create precise and intricate patterns on various materials, allowing them to study the effects of different engraving techniques and materials on forensic evidence. This practical experience helps them grasp the importance of meticulousness and accuracy in forensic analysis. Laser rollers, on the other hand, enable students to practice the skill of extracting latent fingerprints from surfaces. They can experiment with different settings to see how varying intensities and speeds affect the quality of fingerprint lifting. This hands-on practice is invaluable in teaching them the critical role of technology in solving crimes and the importance of attention to detail. Overall, these tools bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, making forensic education more comprehensive and impactful.
