This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school everyday excited to learn! They are inquisitive about the world around them. We strive to broaden their horizons and challenge their minds. We face many obstacles in our ICT classroom, from lack of classroom resources to wishing for those extra materials, that would take us to the next level in our educational journey, but we come together as a caring and responsible community, always mindful to respect each other.

We celebrate our differences while we learn and grow together.

My Project

I am asking for a variety of small toys including stress balls, key chains, mini rubrik’s cubes and other items that will be used to fill our school prize box. These prizes will be used to motivate students to follow school and classroom expectations. At our school we use RULER and the mood meter for students to check in with their feelings and emotions. Our school is revamping the rewards systems and all classes use Class Dojo. Students earn points and these points are then converted into school "starbucks" that can be spent at our school store. These incentive prizes will be added to the school store.

Thanks to you, our students will have a plethora of choices at the school store!

They will be rewarded for their good behavior and academic success!
