Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We need books that interest students to encourage them to be lifelong readers.

My students are third graders.

They have an interest in reading and are motivated but because of their economic status some don't have the money to buy books. The school that they attend is a Title 1 school and is in desperate need of funds to get students the necessary tools to enhance their learning.

My Project

My students will able to read the books in class and at home. They will be able discover books that capture their imagination and encourage them to read more. The books would increase their fluency and vocabulary needed to prepare them for next grade level.

By supporting this project you will be encouraging student to be lifelong readers.

You would take part in their education by donating books that would make them stronger readers therefore having an opportunity to succeed in school and attend college.
