My Students

My students are an amazing group of learners.

They are constantly asking great questions and pushing themselves to work to the best of their abilities. I have seen them rise to all of the challenges that I put in front of them and they constantly challenge me to be a more progressive and thoughtful teacher.

My students are thinkers, dreamers, and creators. They come from all backgrounds and bring with them various life stories and experiences. Their uniqueness is what has helped us to create a trusting and loving classroom community.

My Project

The books purchased through this project will be used daily. I love encouraging my students to pick up a new book and to take adventures through their imagination. Students will have an opportunity to read for pleasure daily as well as check out books to read at home. I have many students that tend to read the same book or series over and over. I am really hoping that by providing more genre options that my students will find a new author or series to read. Students will be encouraged to share their daily reading as well as make connections to what we are studying in the classroom.
