My Students

The students at my school are amazing. I know you probably hear this a lot, but seriously, my students are phenomenal. They attend a K-12 public school for gifted and talents students in the middle of a major city!

Our students are creative, innovative, and full of life, but this is only part of what makes them so phenomenal.

They are eager to learn not only their subjects in school but they also want to know more about the world around them.

My Project

I teach a variety of students. Many of them love reading where there are still a few who shy away from it. It is my hope that my introducing them to titles such as One of Us Is Lying, Now I Rise (And I Darken), the Silo trilogy, and The Young Elites novels they will get hooked on fiction and want to read more.

I want my students to dive into a good book and emerge when they turn the final page ready to start another.

I want them to challenge themselves with titles like, The Rules of Magic, Woolly, and Before We Were Yours. It is my hope that they will always want to have a book in their backpack.
