My Project

Through this project, I will be able to provide my students with thoughtful, engaging, fun, rigorous and hand-on literacy centers. In kindergarten, it is essential that students learn the letters of the alphabet, the sounds that the letters make and the way that we use letters to form words.

Alphabet play-doh mats, story sequencing cards, hands on rhyming cards and the variety of literacy centers will help our students reach every component of literacy that they need to become strong and confident readers.

These materials will be used as whole group activities, in small group activities, as interventions and as independent work once the students become more confident in themselves and their skills. These materials will be fun and allow for learning. We just can't wait to get started!
