This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Football provides an opportunity for young men to grow into productive citizens. We need equipment to allow them to play. We are in a financially strapped area and need help funding out program.

Our kids are tough, hard-working kids.

Most come from broken homes where money is tight. They cannot purchase many of the luxury items associated with the sport that many of our opponents have. The school has to provide everything for the players in order for them to be able to play.

My Project

My students need girdles, knee pads, and chin straps. These items will allow more players to play. They will also allow our players to play in as safe an environment as possible. We have had players in outdated and worn out equipment for the past couple of years. Hopefully, we can eliminate this issue.

This project will allow more students to participate on the team in a safe manner.

It will allow them to experience the lifelong lessons that are learned through participating on an athletic team.
