My Students

Have you ever tried a sport that you were not sure how you would feel about it, then liked it after you tried it? Have you wanted to play a sport, but could not because you didn't have the equipment. That's our situation. We want to invest in our kids!

Our students and school are in a small town.

We are halfway between 2 bigger cities, but our students have been raised in a small-town setting and environment. It's a great opportunity to grow up without certain fears or limitations, but it also has its drawbacks. Our kids are not exposed to certain things and situations because it is not necessary. There is good and bad that can come from that. But our students are kindest, most generous, most appreciative kids you will ever meet. Our community takes pride in being kind and generous, and it shows.

My Project

The new footballs and soccer balls we are requesting will be used during Physical Education class for our elementary students. They will be able to play certain games now with footballs because we will have different sizes and they're not falling apart. They will be able to play soccer because we have not been able to in the past. Soccer is a great sport for young children to teach constant movement, good footwork, and teamwork. Before we have never had the chance to play.

This project will make a difference because it will give our students a chance to play a game that they have only done on weekends, or at home.

There is nothing like coming home from school and hearing that your child had a great time playing a fun game or doing a certain activity that they can't stop talking about. That means the school is working and the kids will have that memory of enjoying themselves!
