My Project

My students are inquisitive, caring, and ready to take on any challenge. Each day they try their very best despite the many obstacles they face. The majority of my students experience food insecurity and school is a place they can count on for a healthy meal each day. Due to federal budget cuts the daily fresh fruit and vegetable program we rely on each day for a mid-day snack will run out of funds by the end of March. This snack is very important, as students are unable to focus on their learning while their stomachs rumble and their energy wanes.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

The socioeconomic status of our students should not dictate whether or not they have enough food to fuel their bodies and brains. While fresh fruit and vegetables would be preferable, it is important that we are able to provide some sort of snack each day to our students. Please help these wonderful future leaders be successful, healthy, and happy!
