Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our current fridge and microwave are over 10 years old and make buzzing and hissing noises throughout the day. The tiny freezer compartment always freezes to the point of becoming unusable. We desperately need new appliances before our current ones burn out.

Pre-K students eat three times a day while in school; breakfast, lunch and snack, and their food needs to be stored safely.

While the school provides breakfast and lunch, snack must come from home, and sometimes even from us teachers. We also sometimes bring extra food in to supplement the school lunch that continues to suffer from recent budget cuts.

Please help us replace our appliances so we can store and heat student food safely, and keep our students growing strong.
