My students are amazing. We work hard to make sure that all in our school community have healthy meal options when they are home on weekends and holidays.
Food insecurity affects so many families in our school community and we all work together to make sure that we can provide the necessary items students need.
My students know that they can feel safe in the school and that our classroom staff makes sure that students can feel safe and fed while not in school. We are requesting shelf stable food that student will have access to for whenever their families will need. This food is especially necessary because we have a long spring break coming up.
