Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my class are curious, energetic, and sweet Kindergartners. They love coming to school and being part of a learning family. In Kindergarten every day is a great day!

Unfortunately, many students come to school without breakfast and have difficulty focusing and fully participating.

Early learning has lots of movement and transitions that require energy. Food is the fuel our body and brain need to grow and learn. When your tummy won't stop growling, nothing else is as important as eating.

One way to help with this issue is to have a "Morning Snack Bin". When you missed breakfast the "Morning Snack Bin" will be available for students to choose a satisfying snack such as granola bars and crackers. And don't forget to drink water. All students will have a reusable water bottle to keep at their desks to stay hydrated throughout the day.
