My Project

My middle school, special education students, are hardworking, resilient, curious, and eager to learn despite the academic and socioeconomic challenges they face. My goal is to provide our students with snacks to help them remain engaged throughout the school day. These snacks will help bridge the gap between the free breakfast and lunch meals they receive in our Title 1 school. Providing snacks for my students will help them manage their energy, their mood, and ultimately their grades! With all the work they put in as students, it is critical they adequately fuel their bodies so they can perform to the best of their ability.
