Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are spectacular. They're resilient and unstoppable. They're natural scientists that seek to explain everyday and extraordinary scientific phenomenon.

My students are the heart of New York City.

My students are curious about the world around them and they are always seeking answers to their questions.

My Project

This curiosity needs to be nurtured. Funding this project, will allow my students to have access to healthy snacks. Keeping hunger away will allow students to conduct research, make predictions, and solve problems.

Hunger has no place in the classroom.

Providing healthy snacks allows students to focus on the task at hand. Providing healthy options allows students to make smart nutritional choices. Healthy snacks are more expensive and this will allow students to sample healthy snacks for free.

Students are most successful when their needs are met. Meeting the basic needs of my students will help them focus on what's most important.
