My Project

There are many students within our building that are discouraged and stressed, by the financial situations of their family. Many have the opportunity to receive free breakfast and lunch or reduced breakfast and lunch, but are still hungry by the end of the day.

My students would like to put encouraging notes on snacks and give them to different peers in the building.

They would like to encourage people and help them with their basic survival needs. The students will write encouraging notes on sticky notes and then tape them to the snacks. The students will then pass the snacks out at lunchtime or as students are in their last period class. They have seen several students come to our room and ask for snacks. They want to add encouraging notes to bring a smile to their face.
