My Project

Many of my students are new to the United states speak languages other than English. I see that they are often eager to learn but are missing essential materials such as bookbags, appropriate clothing for the weather and often snacks and food. Although our school does provide breakfast and lunch, my students often come to school hungry because they do not have enough food at home.

I want to create this project to ensure that all of my students have the same opportunities.

Coming to school hungry makes learning that much harder. I am requesting shelf stable foods that my students will have access to any time that they need food at home.
