My Project

My students are newly arrived to New York City from South America. They are smart, funny, curious, and especially brave in this new part of their lives.

Warm and delicious food is something that makes the school day even better.

I would love to add to the school food they already get with this wishlist. The kids gather together in my classroom during their lunch period, and they have a chance to speak their own language and relax with their friends. Having warm soup and yummy snacks will add to the special time they have during the day.
