Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am an elementary school teacher to an awesome group of students in a Title I low-income school. Each student is a special individual who compliments my classroom with their own personality and culture. My students love to come to school where they feel safe and loved.

My students have a wide range of needs such as learning delays, developmental delays, autism, but without these beautiful differences, my class would not be as special as it is!

My at-risk students will become more attentive and focused. The healthy snacks provided in this grant will counteract behavior problems because students' focus will now become on learning and not hunger. The snacks provided in this grant will stabilize students’ energy level throughout their daily learning experience.
