Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students from SBPS come from low income families and struggle with obtaining basic necessities like food, clothing, and hygiene supplies. At our school, our goal is to ensure the success of every student. Sometimes students lack these necessities and it gets in the way of their academic success. With your help, we will be able to provide a snack to students that get hungry throughout the day. This will ensure productivity in class. We will provide clothing to students who may not have the means to get a coat, hat and gloves in the winter. Not having these items can make it difficult for students to show up to school. Students also need hygiene products to ensure cleanliness throughout the school day.
