Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a High School ESE Math teacher at a Title I School in Hialeah, FL. The majority of my students come from low income families and are on free or reduced lunch. I want my students to want to learn and enjoy coming to their math class. Therefore, I want to do my best to provide them with the necessary resources for their learning needs, in order to see their growth throughout the year.

My Project

By providing a variety fidget items, students will be able to select fidgets that meet their sensory needs and special interests. The pop tubes provide sensory input to students as well as help their fine motor skills. The stretchy noodles, like the monkey noodles, are a student favorite for keeping hands busy during whole group learning.

Having a variety of colors and shapes of the bubble pop fidgets will gain student interest in preferred items.

The chain flip fidgets are great for students who enjoy spinning items.

Using fidgets can reduce anxiety and increate focus! Help my students meet their needs in order to be successful in school!
