Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting that our wonderful donor community supports our class with class sets of croquet. I believe that it will teach my students focus, concentration, and resiliency.

The goal for this project is to help my students learn the game of croquet and to really comprehend the multifaceted approach that is necessary to gain a proficient level and then transfer those skills to other disciplines.

For example, students can use focus, concentration, and resiliency when they are learning mathematical and/or English concepts, just to name a few. This will improve their academic knowledge and open the door for other opportunities.

One thing, among many that makes my students special is that they are hard workers. They understand that some things may not be understood immediately but with the proper support and determination they can achieve mastery.

I believe that a by learning croquet students will be able to simultaneously develop other skills that can be applied to other academic endeavors.
