This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for viewing my project! I'm asking for a class set of headphones and a couple of boxes of snacks to help my kids focus better during class! A lot of my students become easily distracted, and it helps them to be able to listen to white noise while they complete their i-Ready lessons or Google Classroom work online. All of the headphones in our classroom are old, and the sound no longer works in both ears.

Many of my students also come from very underprivileged homes and do not come to school having eaten breakfast, so having snacks available in the classroom helps students focus better and give them a boost of energy.

Allowing students to eat small, controlled snacks in class and use headphones during work allows students to focus when they are asked to work independently.
