My Project

We are a lower income community where my students get the bulk of their quality food at school. It is hard to think when you are only focused on when your next meal will come. Slims Jim's and other snacks will allow them to keep their minds on classwork instead of watching the clock.

I intend to give students a snack break in the morning.

We have 4 hours after breakfast before our lunch. There are also students who may need snacks in their bags over long weekends. I would love to be able to offer that to them.

My students are great kids, with great potential. They need opportunities like this to help them stay on task in the classroom.
