My Project

We are a departmentalized grade level, and I have 32 students in three sections that I teach third grade math to everyday. The learning levels and styles are very diverse in every section. As we continue to master our math skills, I believe that having individual manipulatives would be a great tool.

The fraction and decimal sets will allow the students to answer their independent work problems with hands-on experience.

This will also allow students to work in small groups in which every student can show their personal understanding. This tool will also help students match the names of the fractions visually with the pieces.
