Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students here are from a low-income family-oriented community. Students come from local communities around the corner. The students are well behaved independent kids. The students are from local communities who live a struggled life but know how to move forward.

Most of the kids are excited to come to school and are ready to work.

They need guidance and that is what we are here for. They seek help and we, as teachers, help them out. Bright and smart students who enjoy their life even though they might have struggles out of school.

My Project

My students are not allowed to play baseball on campus because of risk of injuries to others. It is a small campus and we cannot afford to practice at the park so will have to at school. With baseball my students will be excited to play and will want to join the sport because they don't play the others. Will help them improve their grades.

Baseball is a student favorite.

With the foam bat students will not have to worry about hurting each other instead of using metal bats. Also, with the foam balls other students around campus will not get hurt as they will not be the hard balls that usually are used. They will be playing baseball matches against other schools and need the practice as they won't be allowed to practice at the park because of permit issues.
