This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a drone for my classroom. The students love learning about new technology and attaining a device that can fly over our community and during field trips would be an experience the children will never forget. There's a high interest in drones with my male students but I would like my female students to develop a love of new technology.
The students learning how to fly a drone and get a bird's eye view of our city and community would be memorable moment in their lives.
Viewing the world from above will help student learn about landforms and different perspectives. A drone in a 2nd grade classroom would simply be amazing. This may inspire the students to become pilots.
