My Project
Flying Lessons and Other Short Stories is a rich YAL short stories collection that features universal themes and a resonating book that appeals to a diverse array of readers. By helping fund our classroom book drive you can aid in contributing to our short stories collections for our ELA class.
Access to rich and diverse young adult literature is crucial to developing independent and active readers; please consider funding our book drive for Flying Lessons and Other Short Stories.
The short stories collection features current and culturally relevant young adult authors Kwame Alexander, Soman Chainani, Matt de la Pena, Tim Tingle, Walter Dean Myers, and others.
We are hoping to help complete our 1st year teaching at WMS classroom library by giving our students access to these multicultural YAL short stories and other literature this 2023-2024 school year.
