My Students

Do you remember your first computer? My students know how to use computers but lack the resources to buy their own technology for school. This is your chance to supply much needed technology to a cash strapped classroom.

My students are respectful, responsible, and hungry to learn.

Our school participates in the federally funded free lunch program and we also serve breakfast in the classroom to all students at our school site. We enjoy learning how to read and study literature, as well as write about what we've read, in a thoughtful, meaningful literature circle.

My Project

Having a working computer in the classroom will allow students the opportunity to practice their keyboarding skills, a necessary skill to compete in the workplace, and give them another resource for researching topics and writing about them. The students would be able to access the many free learning games that are available on the Internet.

This project means that my students will have another computer in a school with little current technology.

Funding this project means that my ESL students can gain access to basic language arts activities that reinforce their classroom instruction. This project means the world to my students and future students, and they all mean the world to me.
