Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Student Council kids have been working hard at bringing school spirit to our school this year. We have not had a student council at our school for quite a few years, this year we brought back this amazing group.
The students that signed up to be part of the council have done an amazing job so far, one of their biggest endeavors this year has been to bring back school pride.
They believe that if students have more pride in their school, they will work hard at keeping a clean and safe environment, therefore students will try their best in class as well.
My students would love to have blank flags in our school colors. These flags will be decorated with our school name and mascot. They will then be given to each class so they can use during our Spirit Friday morning assemblies.
These flags will give our students a sense of community and pride, thereby encouraging positive behavior and academic performance.
