Help Mrs. Williams

I teach all subjects to students with learning differences. My students are particularly interested in the life sciences. Students range from the 2nd through 5th grade. Our school is within an urban at-risk community that faces many economic restrictions.

Supplies that will provide a thorough demonstration of the life cycle are extremely limited. My students enjoy learning through hands-on experiences that increase their academic achievement.

We will need a butterfly habitat and caterpillar living specimens in order to directly observe the butterfly's natural life cycle. Students will be able to increase their state test scores as a result of comprehending the process of larvae maturation into butterflies.

Your donation will make it possible for my students to meet the challenges of standardized testing mandated by No Child Left Behind. My students will also gain the opportunity to observe a natural process that would never have been observed in their environment.
