This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to be able to update our garden box. Years ago we were given a large garden box with dirt inside. We have tried growing flowers before but most of them died.
I would love to start off the school year with beautiful flowers outside of our classroom.
It would be great to have gardening shovels, a water can, and extra seeds that we can plant once the flowers begin to die. Several of my students have shared that they do not have a backyard or even a patio with plants or flowers at home.
