My Students

My students are struggling readers in West Virginia. They need a place for inspiration to learn and enjoy reading. These students are in grades kindergarten through fifth grade and do not always have access to books or nice things. Many of these students come from low-income families and do not have access to technology and rarely get the educational help that they need at home. These students would benefit from having things to make their learning environment more accessible and pleasing to see.

My Project

This table will help my students to work together easier. They will be able to sit closer to see, hear, and ask question during small group Instruction. I will be able to monitor their success and help guide them as they learn to read. This new table will be a beautiful addition to my room. Most of my students come from low income families. Many of my students do not get new things to use, especially furniture. The students will love working at this table. I hope to get this table to work with my students more effectively and efficiently.
