Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I have high expectations that my students will grow and achieve beyond the expectations set for them. We study STEM topics such as robotics, engineering, and coding along with our curriculum.

School is a safe and fun place for my students.

They enjoy coming to school and learning through hands-on, engaging activities. For many of my students, school is the highlight of their day.

My Project

My students get tired of sitting in the same hard chair day after day. Giving them a more comfortable place to sit would make our classroom feel more like home. Giving students the flexibility to sit where ever they are most comfortable would be awesome.

It would help them to be more focused on their learning.

The chairs have great back support which helps students be able to sit for longer periods of time. The table is low to the ground which would allow students to sit on the ground with a pillow or use the chairs that are provided with the table.
