Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have recently transferred schools and my previous school had a lot of flex seating. This allows students to sit freely around the room when working. It is more comfortable and helps with focus. We could use the floor cushions for this. I already have floor tables but the scoop seats will help with comfort as well.

My students are a unique bunch of kids with kind hearts who deserve the best education that they can receive.

Their hearts are huge and their love for learning shows with everything that they do. I am truly thankful to be teaching them. In an urban setting, we don't always get what we need but with donors like yourself, we can make this possible for them.

I am also looking for math manipulatives for students to have a more hands-on experience with math. They need more support in this subject and the math rek and rek kit for students to make their rek-n-rek will help them view numbers to twenty in multiple ways.

We are also low on crayons this time of year and students love the box of 24 crayons more than an 8-pack that the school provides. We are also looking for dry-erase markers because my students use dry-erase boards many times throughout the day for different subjects.
