My Students

My fabulous 4th grade students are working hard during these unbelievable circumstances. We are currently back in the classroom after having a completely remote year during this pandemic. This requires a lot of hard work and dedication from these wonderful kiddos.

I'm so impressed with the level of drive and motivation students have to do their best each day even with the challenges that learning through a pandemic present.

My Project

After this trying pandemic year, this project will provide different options to make transitioning back into a traditional classroom setting a bit easier. Half of all students in my district were fully remote last year. Consequently, they had been learning in more flexible physical environments at home.

Now that we are back to full in person learning, many students might struggle with the need to fidget and not being used to sitting in formal desks and chairs.

This project provides yoga ball chairs and wobble seats for movement while working. Students will be able to sit in a variety of seats that allow easy movement to help them learn in a fun and flexible way.
