This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I currently teach a very diverse group of 25 3rd grade students with a variety of learning styles and needs. One of the best additions to my classroom has been incorporating flexible seating options for engaged and comfortable learning.

Students thrive when their needs are being met.

Many of my students do not learn best in traditional learning environment and often prefer to work in locations around the classroom. Having the ability to give them comfortable and flexible areas to learn is a huge priority for me to be able to provide to them.

Equity Focus
