My Project

In our Pre-K special needs classroom, flexible seating for our students is crucial for facilitating a safe and inviting classroom environment. My three and four year old students find comfort in the cool down/cozy corner in our classroom.

Various seating options that would help with self regulation when their emotions get to overwhelming.

A bouncy chair will help students who struggle with seeking vestibular input, while the moon chair will help students who seek proprioceptive input.

Creating a warm, comfortable and welcoming classroom is essential for any teacher. However, for our special needs students it is critical for them to have a space where they can feel they can go and self soothe.
