My Project

Flexible seating will give my students the autonomy to work comfortably around the classroom. During independent work times throughout the day, students have a variety of places to pick to sit and work. A favorite place of theirs to sit is the aisle of the classroom; but it is uncarpeted. It gets cold and hard and they want to sit on top of their sweaters, which causes unsafe conditions such as slipping and tripping. Which almost always results in them moving to a spot they do not nessasarily want. Flexible seating will keep students safe and motivated to pick where they feel most comfortable to learn.
