Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating is important in any classroom. Having multiple options of seating choices in a classroom is optimal to give students a chance to helps support each individual learning style versus traditional classroom arrangements. Having soft seating options help create comfortable space that can help enable students focus. I am requesting floor seats, wobble chairs and cushions for flexible seating and freedom to move in the classroom.

Sitting at a traditional classroom desk and chair is not optimal for children's on the spectrum.

Children on the spectrum need flexible seating that will support their different stimming behaviors such as rocking or siting on the floor. By creating a nontraditional classroom my students will be able to have freedom to pick their preferred seating arrangement to support their induvial learning style.
