Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students learn better in a comfortable, welcoming environment. We have noticed that students are having trouble sitting in one spot for extended periods of time since they've returned to school from remote learning. We hope our students will take ownership of their learning, feel more comfortable collaborating and working with their peers and bring them overall excitement to come to school each day.

We would like to create a space where my students can move freely, feel empowered by being able to make choices about their environment, and allow students to discover where and how they work best using floor seats, wiggle stools, and pillows.

We are very excited to fully transition from a traditional style of seating to a flexible one. Thank you for helping me give my students a comfortable and motivating space to work!
