Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am allowing my students the opportunity to choose where they want to learn in my classroom. Do they want to sit on the floor, on a rug, use a lap desk, or sit on a chair? I believe in giving my students choices.

When students have a comfortable learning environment they will be more engaged.

They will be willing to participate on their own, making learning a lot more fun. Giving students choices and allowing them to make decisions in their learning gives them power.

The materials for this project will allow the students to move around in the classroom. Wherever they choose to sit they can move a cart with them along with their materials. The yoga balls and the rubber bands will help the students that have a little extra energy concentrate.
