Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a middle school teacher, I make it a priority to create a classroom that is inviting, calming, and functional to meet my students learning needs. The flexible seating will help to encourage students to work together collaboratively and allow them to share their learning with one another. Each day we do activities in which students are grouped together to help each other and these seats will give the students more opportunities to move around the classroom easily.,

These chairs will help my students process our lessons by satisfying that need to be comfortable and provide the sensory input some of them need to concentrate.

Throughout the lesson movement is necessary for my students and these chairs will give them the chance to take that needed break and then be able to refocus quickly.

Students thrive in positive places in which they feel comfortable which is why I am hoping to add these new chairs and beanbag chair to our classroom. I want all of my students to be comfortable and eager to learn each day.
