This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a bilingual teacher in a low-income and high poverty school district, I know that my students are faced with various challenges in and out of the classroom. My desire is to maintain a positive learning experience so that my students become motivated learners.
My students are innovative, bright, and very inquisitive.
They like to work in groups. They enjoy reading and especially positive attention. Many of them are below the poverty level and receive a free lunch based on their socioeconomic status. These experiences may prevent them from getting ahead early in life. I hope to inspire my students on a path of academic achievement.
My Project
My students need to have fun while learning. This flexible seating is just the thing for them. The colors are blue and are quite vivid. The chairs are from Lakeshore and look quite comfortable.
During personal reading time this flex seating will make this task quite enjoyable for my students.
My students have a personal reading goal of reading 10 classroom novels. It is important that they be comfortable during this task. These seas will help them meet this goal. I can't wait for them to see these new pair of chairs as an addition to our classroom. It will make learning much more enjoyable for them overall.
