Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are imaginative and fun-loving children. They come from low-income households and have not had much experience with the world outside their community.

Many of my students don't have many resources that they can use at home during remote learning.

Despite the hardships they are facing with school being closed, they are eager learners.

My Project

These cushions will help our students focus and learn during this period of remote learning. Some of my students have trouble focusing on their work, especially with other siblings in the same room working as well. While the students enjoy brain breaks/movement breaks, they benefit from the use of these cushions because they allow them to move around while staying on task.

The students are familiar with these cushions and use them regularly in our ICT classroom.

I would love to be able to send my students a cushion that they could use at home during this time.
