Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My wonderful kids come from a low income area of the Las Vegas Valley. The majority of my students are transient, moving from place to place every year. Despite this, these amazing kids come into school ready to learn and strive to work hard. These kids are helpful, kind, and caring to each other. They support each other and focus on allowing others to achieve their goals. These kids deserve the tools which will allow them to be successful. Thanks!

My Project

My second graders are amazing student, who have a lot of energy. Wobble chairs and bouncy bands allow the kids to get their energy out while remaining focused on their lessons. The students find the bouncy bands to be most helpful during instruction. These tools give them the ability to make the choice to fidget in an appropriate way. This is helpful because it does not disrupt the class or disturb other students, while teaching the students the value of making good choices. Thank you for helping me support my students and classroom by allow them to receive the best education possible.
