My Students
The students in my classroom all have a disabilities, some are more profound than others. Each student comes from different cultural and social economic backgrounds. Their abilities outweigh their differences.
We work together to make our abilities show and disabilities disappear.
Students are learning to take charge of their learning. We use a multitude of technology, paper/pencil tasks and programs to learn and grow each day. Students learn about themselves and how to be a productive member of today's society.
My Project
In our classroom we often move around and into different groups. Sit-Stand desks will allow us to better move about the classroom and still meet our individual sensory needs. This added mobility keeps the students learning tools closely accessible to them.
Students are able to take control of their learning needs when having the options provided by the Egotronic Learn-Fit SE desk.
The students can stand, sit, and move the desk where the best learning environment is for them. Learning to recognize sensory and learning needs when they happen and adapting, help students to be intricate part of their community and learning environment.
