This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have the students who are identified as SPED. Flexible seating can be highly beneficial for students identified as SPED (Special Education) because it allows them to choose seating options that provide the sensory stimulation they need to focus and complete tasks effectively. It's important to provide a variety of seating options to accommodate different sensory preferences and support each student's individual learning style.

Students can learn in positions that are most comfortable to them, such as leaning, rocking, or standing. Movement increases oxygen flow to the brain, which can help students stay alert and focused.
