Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

When you enter my classroom, you will see students of various backgrounds, economic status, and learning needs. But more importantly, you will see students that are kind, thoughtful, encouraging, and love learning. My students may speak 27 different languages and have had different struggles in their lives, but they never give up.

We believe in having a Growth Mindset!

My students amaze me everyday at their ability to persevere and understand that it is okay to fail, as long as you get back up.

My Project

Flexible seating will make a huge difference in my classroom. By giving the students an option to sit where they want, I am letting them be in charge of their own learning. They are learning how to share space and supplies while being kind to one another.

Every student learns in a different way, so Flexible Seating is another tool and strategy to help reach everyone.

I have already cleared a big carpet space in my classroom for kids to sit at and learn, all we need now are the lap trays and different comfy floor seats for them to use. We would greatly appreciate any support.
